Campaign News

My name is Senita Lenear, appointed member of the Grand Rapids Board of Ed. As a graduate of the GRPS and a parent, I believe my experience, knowledge, education and community involvement will help me serve our community well. My passion for education is the main reason I volunteer. I serve as a director for Student Advancement Foundation, where our mission is to ensure that all Grand Rapids Public Schools have the tools to learn. My community involvement includes director and committee seats with various non-profit organizations in GR. I am the founder of My Body is a Temple, abstinence program for teens and young adults. I am also a faithful member of a local church. I have progressive business experience with the largest health insurance provider in the State of Michigan.

I need your support in order to continue this journey! In order to serve out the remaining year of the term I was appointed to in October 2007, I need you to vote for me on Tuesday, May 6, 2008!
